In case you’ve been wondering (and I know you have), here’s a picture of my new haircut, as of Oct. 9th. (Not the best lighting or angle, but you get the idea.)
Tomorrow I’m getting 2 new zebra finches! Chris is also getting 2. A girl from work is giving away 3 (one baby [well, teenager now] and the parents) — I’m taking the baby, which is a female, and then buying another female from the pet store, so Franny and Zooey will have girlfriends. Chris is taking the parents, as neighbors for Bianca and Charlie. So cute!! :)
I’ve decided to buy a new scanner. My stupid HP All-in-One thing is just a piece of crap for scanning. I’ve decided on the Epson 2480.
Things I like about winter: comfy sweaters; flannel sheets; hot chocolate; seeing your breath. Things I dislike about winter: not enough daylight and too freakin’ cold.
Busy day at work tomorrow (though hopefully not as stressful as today). Writing CSS-only pages is challenging! I like it; but I don’t like project managers breathing down my neck. Anyway, must shower now and head to bed.

That picture really doesn’t show off the hair. I think it’s a really cool cut. It keeps going back into a part though :P
I don’t know what to tell you about the part. For one thing, I really don’t see it. For another, perhaps my hair just has a mind of its own. I don’t consciously part it or anything.
Why am I not in bed yet?? Birdies are coming tomorrow morning, I need to be well-rested!
It’s ok, it still looks good. Now if we can just do something about my moptop. :)
One word, Chris: Whitey Dredlocks.
Ok, so that was two words. I’m stupid.
ok, that made me laugh out loud at work. I wouldn’t even begin to know how to make dreadlocks out of my hair. I suppose it starts with not washing for a few weeks?
That’s right, you dirty hippie.
This hair discussion reminds me that I need to assemble a hair committe to figure out what to do with my hair. Not that I’m really worried about it or anything. Just saying.
cold? let me just the highest i saw it get all weekend was 41. and it was raining. but tomorrow will be a warm high of 53!!! ;)
As someone who went to university up north, let me say that when those temperatures come back in spring, Sarabeth, you will see people running around with shorts on.
M@ber, like the hair!
You always gots to be so British. Saying “university” instead of “college.” What are you going to do next, tell us about your favourite colour?
Don’t make me open up a can of whoop-arse on you!
