I can’t take the stress. I just can’t stand it! I’m getting really tired, so I’m going to have to go to bed, but… aaauuuuggggh!!! I’m hoping I won’t be plagued by nightmares of 4 more years of Bush. Actually, nightmares won’t be a problem — as long as they don’t come true.
So, I’m heading to bed, because I must. Jenny (as if you ever read this!), I hope you’re not still answering phones at the Kerry campaign office; you need your sleep too. You’re a trooper! Kira and Sara, if you’re at the rally at Copley, congrats on being part of history… although I wouldn’t blame you for sitting home with various types of alcohol.
Just a parting thought as my eyes droop… WHO are these PEOPLE who are voting for BUSH??? I’m going to cry……

You want a democracy. You get a democracy.
I hate democracy now. The people I’m stuck with in this country have chosen a dude that can’t even make a coherent speech off the cuff — as president of the US.
Under a second Bush administration, you may not have a democracy much longer….
I jest, sort of.
If Bush wins - which appears likely - he wins. That’s what happens. If you hold the minority views, you raise hell and fight for your points. It’s what you do.
But you also respect the wishes of the electorate - no matter how ill-advised or tragic they may be.
Well, I don’t respect the electorate (because we all know how arcane and asinine that is), but I do respect the vote of the majority.
But, it’s like you said, you continue to give them hell, because that’s the point of our nation. On both sides, they keep talking about unifying us, which I think is bull. We already are unified. We just disagree. And I hate that people seem to think that disagreement is a bad thing and wrong and unpatriotic.
