My country, I fear, is about to enter a very dark period, and let me say that I hope as much as anyone else does that I’m just being a Chicken Little in saying so.

That’s all you’re getting. I’m not saying anything else about it. Because if I do, I’ll just get too damn depressed, and this blog will devolve into all doom-and-gloom, all the time. This is also why, in general, these days I can handle politics only in small doses.
So from here on out, the main topics on this blog will be 1) sex; 2) programming; and 3) random boring shit from my day-to-day life. Not necessarily in that order.
Say I’m burying my head in the sand if you want; I don’t believe that to be the case. I’ll continue to send my monthly checks to Planned Parenthood and NARAL, sign those omnipresent online petitions, volunteer with GfD… but brooding about this shit ain’t gonna do me or anyone else any damn bit of good.
Some people have a strong stomach for the antics of the Bushistas. I’m not one of them.

Well if you’re gonna be burying your head, you might want to put my blog on block.
Yeah after a while its tough to keep wanting to fight and speak out and get screwed over anyway. I think I may start taking an attitude of I won’t worry about it and just hope it turns out ok in the end.
But on the other topics..woohoo lots of entries about sex.
