Snapped these yesterday on Commerce Drive in Decatur, near my soon-to-be new home.
This is why I haven’t been doing much blogging this weekend.
And I see Duane has spring fever, too.

For the record, you suck.
It’s snowing here. Yes, snowing. And we’re supposed to get 7-9 inches. It’s been in the 50s for 2 weeks and NOW we get snow??? I reserve the right to be excessively cranky.
But…the politics are just so much better here. For the moment. :-)
Personally, I prefer mid 20s to 30s when it comes to getting 7-9 inches, but that’s just me.
Shut up, Thorvig. That snow is on its way over here, after two glorious days in the 50s. You can’t tease me like this, Mother Nature! I was ready for spring!
94 in Austin this weekend. That’s just gross.
Spring is in the air! Wait, did we even have winter?
Your picture makes me happy.
There’s a penis joke in here somewhere.
Hey, congrats on the new location! Decatur near the square is a great place. Love the spring photos.
Yes, Charles, there is a penis joke… it’s right here:
It’s funnier when you don’t spell it out, though. Still… it made me LOL the second time ’round nevertheless.
I can appreciate the beauty of those pictures, but my brain keeps telling me how bad those gorgeous trees smell. Ugh. Stupid fish trees.
12 inches, my friends. It was actually over 12 inches and, of course, in the 20s. That was enough to keep me home until 12:30 yesterday.
I never did make it in to work. My boss was actually courteous enough to call and tell me to stay home. I mean, it was 12 inches - constantly. It didn’t let up for like 18 hours. That’s definitely worth missing a day’s work.
Needless to say, I’m a little sore today.
Seriously. Sore. That, however, would be from the hour it took me to unearth (unsnow?) my car and the THREE hours it took to get my friend’s car out so it wouldn’t get towed last night. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
:-)
LoL @ jt
:D Jenny, I love you.
But I don’t love you. Sorry, I don’t have 12 inches to offer.
Wait, we’re still talking about snow, right? ‘Cause I’m for reals, it doesn’t snow 12 inches here in Georgia!
