- Apparently last night at trivia I left $25 instead of $10. This can be the only conclusion, because when I opened up my wallet to pay for lunch, instead of the twenty and five I was expecting, there were two fives. I like to think I’m a generous tipper, but damn. I could’ve used that twenty bucks.
- There’s an Of Montreal show in Athens tomorrow night, and Cari and I are going. That’s three OM shows in six months… I’m turning into such a groupie.
- My fingernails always look like shit. Other women’s hands and fingernails always look so nice and freshly manicured. What gives? (No, I don’t want you to give me an actual answer; this is purely rhetorical. And no, I’m not a nail biter.)
- Busy, busy, busy. I’m slumming it today with lunch from Krystal. Ugh.

Hey! That’s where that extra $10.00 came from! You basically paid for Duane. We couldn’t figure out how we were even when he kept insisting he owed $10.00. Now, we know.
You hear that, Moody? You owe me ten bucks!!1!
(j/k)
I’d love to say hey to y’all when you stop by Athens. What time does the show begin?
Aw hell. And yet again, I’m not going. Because I have a conflict of schedule. Damn it. Have fun for me.
We’ll probably get there around 9pm. The show starts at 10, but OM probably won’t be on until 11:30-12.
But Grand Buffet will be on! Talking about the awesomeness of ephedrine!!1!
Rhetorical or not, you’re getting a response.
Have you tried Burt’s Bees Lemon Cuticle Cream? It’s the best stuff ever. :-) Just make sure you have your nails the shape you want them first and then rub it into your nail beds and over the whole nail. I used it every night when I was in Vienna and my nails were gorgeous…
Somehow I acquired these girly aspects later in life. Being so ancient and all…
Jenny, maybe you could send some of that cream along with my Christmas present… next June.
Oh man, I can’t help you with the fingernail thing which is fine since you said you didn’t want help.
But now I’m suddenly just dying for a couple of Krystal burgers. (Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I guess.)
Instead I’m going to have to eat the yukky old pulled chicken tacos I’m going to be making fresh from scratch in a couple of minutes.
Go figure. :-)

Amber, you just need a manicure. They’re awesome. Trust me.
I am totally donating 10 bucks to your pay pal like right now… I KNEW that I owed 10 bucks! Ah well… Sorry you were missing it when you needed it!
Thorvig got me hooked on that cuticle cream… It’s hot. Though, you might just want to buy your own. I don’t think she actually got us Christmas gifts… And if she did, she wouldn’t give them to us until October when we might see her.
I was the one who counted the money at the end of the night and there was only $10 in cash, everything else was paid with credit. We were $2 short so Nikki just added it to their portion and gave it to JC. We did not realize that Duane had not paid yet, he gave $2 to Niki afterward and still had $10 left. My guess is that some of us forgot to deduct for the previous weeks winnings or we just can’t add. I am not sure where your cash went though Amber but we will gladly chip in next week.
While I didn’t see y’all, last night (early this morning) I did interrupt some kids smoking pot who had just come from the Of Montreal concert.
Yeah, we smelled patchouli and some other easily identifiable smells that usually go along with it inside the 40 Watt.
We didn’t call you because by the time we got into town we really didn’t have time for anything other than a quick dinner at the Grit and then standing in line to buy tickets.
That’s fine. We were pretty busy that night, anyway.
