Stick it in me

Abstinence wasn’t good enough for me, so two days ago, I got the first round of the new HPV vaccine. (Gotta go back in 2 and 6 months for the second and third shot.)

    Hooray for vaccinating against PREVENTABLE diseases! I try to encourage everyone to get vaccinated for Hep A and B too, because so many aren’t, and they are totally preventable!!!

    Did you have to ask your doctore, or was it offered to you? I ask because I just recently went for my yearly visit and it wasn’t offered to me; didn’t think to aks about it.

    She offered it to me at my yearly exam (last month) but said I’d need to wait and call in a few weeks, because that was right when it had just been approved and they didn’t have any in the office yet!
