It’s a threat to the relationships that base themselves on the idea of sexuality being taboo. Many religions push this view because they use [it] to invoke shame, and through shame they have control.
As long as sex is something dirty that should be locked away in the bedroom, relationships will remain entwined with shame.

Those people are morons. Porn can be a great boon to a relationship, where the participants use it together to have better sex. But of course that requires both parties to get over their hangups and actually watch something with naked people having sex OMG!
So many relationships are imperiled or even destroyed by sexual difficulties and dysfunction, you’d think these people would want couples to have all possible tools at their disposal to find ways to have fantastic sex together.
