    What is WRONG with these people? What excuse do they have for not fixing your AC and not paying for a hotel in the meanwhile?

    I ask, even though we’ve had our hell landlords in the past. So it’s kind of a rhetorical question, because I know what asses landlords can be.

    Still…in this heat!

    FWIW, I made inquiries with several neighbors and friends trying to find someone in a similar situation who could help you out, but to no avail.
