Daisy knocks it out of the park. “I attempted to participate in a thread over at Women’s Space/Margins, only to have my comments censored. Heart does not tolerate any dissent from any feminists at her site.”

OMG. That Augusta article.
I have no words. It’s so fucking dead on. Who is this Christopher Solomon and how did he nail it so absolutely? (Yes, he’s a freelance writer based in Seattle…I must know more…off to Google, I go…)
Seriously…that is the world I grew up in. Dead on. Eventually I will be able to articulate something else about that article. But not yet.
Small criticism - Like the smell of a rendering plant on the outskirts of town, - no, dear. You don’t need a hypothetical rendering plant. There’s a real life paper mill to perfume the low-hanging smog. Apparently my beloved Christopher wasn’t in Augusta for a sticky summer night when sultry winds from the south blew rotten egg-scented dioxins over Georgia’s Second City.
Flabbergasted.
You win, Amber. I need a blog.
