- Eating cake as a pre-dinner snack. I know this seems backwards. #
- I don’t like this "12 Reasons Why a Geek Will Steal Your Girlfriend" article bc it assumes geeks are male. #
- More and more, I am happy I got a flu shot a few months ago. #
- Looking for a claim form so I can file a medical claim myself. Wish me luck. #
- LOL, PodCamp Nashville has a keynote titled, "Join the Conversation." I am *so* tired of "conversation." It’s a buzzword now. #
- I also note that, unless there are some names I’m really not understanding, all the PodCamp Nashville speakers are men. #
- New Creative Loafings are not out yet. I was trying to see if they printed my letter. I can’t find letters anywhere on the web site. #
- @karsh – When you go back to AT&T, tell them to stop screwing w/ my grandmother’s phone bill! #
- So @rustytanton found the letters to the editor on CL’s site; looks like they didn’t run mine. http://urltea.com/2kde #
- Registering for WAM! 2008 conference. I’ll be volunteering at the registration table. http://urltea.com/2hte #
- @reginalynn – Sounds like me when a group of us had dinner w/ Susie Bright; in retrospect I was a total idiot! But, it happens. :) #

Hi Amber:
We’re looking forward to meeting you. Join the Conversation is actually the title of Jaffe’s book. It’s worth a read, he certainly has an incredible grasp on Conversational Marketing.
Your point is a good one regarding the sexes of the speakers. The truth is we had no women speaker submissions. Zero.
On a side note, you’ll see that we had several incredible female speakers at BarCamp Nashville: Statsia Holdren, Brittney Gilbert and Penelope Trunk.
Cheers,
Dave
