Twitter updates for 2008-06-05

  • Back from Cardio Pole. I got the climb + invert again! Was thinking about making a video tonight but the AC’s not fixed yet. :P #
  • @SakuraSarashi - Have fun at the pleasure salon! Worlds, they are colliding. #
  • @StudioErotica - The new site looks GREAT! #
  • You know what I would LOVE? If we could shit-can the phrase, “the world’s oldest profession.” PLEASE! #
  • Here’s another thing I hate: ppl who don’t know SHIT about sex work making little quips they think are SO clever (they’re not). #
  • …for example they always say things like, “Ok, hate to ask, but… what’s a [fill in the blank]?” #
  • It’s hard to say no to free Krispy Kreme donuts. #
  • Have I mentioned how irritated I am by women who say they don’t call themselves a feminist? Ugh!! #
  • Day 4 busted AC; I’m having deja vu! Our apt. is at least habitable this time around, tho. Rusty is going to puff out his chest at them. #
  • @SpaceyG - There’s a joke in there about comparisons to the mainstream media. #
  • Need to write a post soliciting suggestions for a 2nd job for my mom. But must finish some work first. #
  • Does anyone have an alternative to “attention whore?” The term doesn’t work for me, bc I see nothing wrong w/ being a whore. #
  • …and therefore the negative connotation doesn’t exist (like ppl who try to use “gay” as an insult). #
  • @extraface - I think “ham” has more of a playful connotation whereas “attention whore” means something really negative. #
  • @SakuraSarashi - That’s a good suggestion, thanks. #
  • @pfischer - Ha! Nice and geeky. Good one. #
  • @absurdities - I vote pterodactyls, bc that’s bound to make any Mad Lib more fun; not to mention an Official Document. #
  • My mom needs to find a 2nd job. Anyone have ideas? Blog post: http://tinyurl.com/59sxag #
  • @NikolHasler & @kimberleecline - Have fun you crazy kids! #
