Quickly, before I go to bed… here it is, my burlesque pole performance!
Our latest eight-week session of Level 5/6 at PoleLaTeaz focused on burlesque. I found it very challenging, but overall a good kind of challenge. This is the routine I put together for the end of this session. It features less pole work than usual, and more theatrics.

Ooh, that was FUN to watch!
So, when exactly are you going to go get a job working in a club? :P
I’ve thought about it, and alas, I think that the smokiness/poor ventilation of most strip clubs, plus the “cold calling” aspect of the job (approaching customers for lap dances) make it not the right job for me.
Well, I know in some states, they’ve outlawed smoking in all establishments, including strip clubs. Not sure about where you are.
As for the cold-calling, that is a problem for every girl who starts out, really. Once you get the hang of it and learn how to hustle, though, it becomes second nature. You do have to have good self esteem and a tough ego, though. Being rejected by a customer isn’t easy, but once you learn that it is nothing personal, and understand that it happens to every single dancer, that too becomes much easier to deal with. Usually. lol
Anyway, you seem to enjoy working a pole - I thought it’d be cool for you to give it a real shot.
I WISH they would do that here. Instead, they’ve taken the wishy-washy (or “middle of the road,” if you’re trying to spin it in a positive light) approach of creating elaborate rules of when and where smoking is allowed, and when and where it isn’t.
Speak for yourself. :) I can’t wait tables, either.
Well, I was all set to go to amateur night - but now, no clubs in the metro area (except a couple clubs that cater exclusively to black clientele) have amateur night. :\

Really? Wow, that’s how many clubs get some of their best talent! Haha!
Well, regardless, it has been fun to watch you (talk about and) develop your skills! ;-)
