I think "everything else" is still part of the writing.

Sure, it's not the sitting down and putting in the hours/ignoring other commitments, but all writing is cathartic and personal.

I'm supportive regardless of the source of the hesitancy. I'm interested in your story (the personal one, the one you tell already and want to expand into a book) and your stories, your writing.

I understand the delineation, I'm just saying that since the latter (the writing) is so good and thoroughly expressed on this blog, the story would be amazing. But then maybe I'm being voyeuristic on some level.

In any event, thank you for sharing what you have shared already. Whether the book gets written or not, the blog, as always, is great.

Sorry for missing that part, but please keep writing.

What did McLuhan or somebody say about uttering something being like "outering" it?

Oh man.... I'd like to say I can relate, kind of, I suppose. My boyfriend is trans (he's an FTM), but the thing is, we got together when he was already transitioning. That, and we met at a queer group - that and I'm pretty fluid and somewhat atypical in my sexuality. (Although I thought I was almost completely gay until I met my boyfriend - my attitude was "Okay, I think some boys are hot, but it's not like I'd have a relationship with one." That went to hell rather quickly.)

Sorry...I know I'm probably not helping at all.

The point is that I totally see where you are coming from (even though it hasn't been my personal experience), and I would love to read it. Not only because you are a wicked awesome writer, but I'm sure a lot of people could relate.
