That is why I don’t get how anyone can argue it’s *not* feminist. What is not feminist about teaching young women that it’s okay to be in touch with their bodies and their sexuality??

I’m so glad to see that you realized this early in life. I wish, gosh I wish, that there was some way to teach this mindset to young women in middle and high schools. Imagine what we could accomplish if we could do that.

Frakin’ word, Amber. That continues to baffle me the way those feminists are so comfortable with disempowering women to promote their ideology; that just proves that their ideology doesn’t have any strength of its own.

Um, right the fuck on.

It always drove me nuts to see women’s naked or semi-naked bodies as inherently sexual, and if they’re sexual, to be inherently there for male consumption.

At this point, if someone thinks I’m being degraded by my sexual behavior or the clothing that I wear or don’t wear, well, that says a hell of a lot more about them than about me.
