"And I think that's the main thing about doing your own PR: it's a constant learning process. It never ends. Quite often things pop up out of nowhere and I feel so blessed, like this interview on Capessa but I also think those things happen because I'm pursuing things that I believe in, that matter to me. I feel like I barely know a thing, and yet something I'm doing does work. As I book my SXSW panel (almost done!), I know there's more of that ahead, and for me the challenge is to conserve my energy for when I'm in the mood to brainstorm and email and research and find every possible venue I could send something to, and the times when I just want to curl under my blanket with a good book."

"There is only way to create a situation in which women, some of whom would not choose sex work if they had a wider array of options, don’t choose it. It’s not for anyone to be 'better.' It’s to work towards creating that wider array."

"Remember what I said about Eric Holder last week? Do you picture him dropping the proceedings and letting 2257 quietly revert to the already unconstitutional and burdensome form in which it existed prior to its 'restructuring' under Bush? I can envision snow in July in L.A. more easily.
While I do believe that some of the more preposterous and technologically impossible elements of the regulations may eventually be negotiated away in some kind of settlement, I have absolutely no reason to expect any slack being cut for us overall by Holder or anyone else in Obama's crowd.
We need to face the fact that we have no friends in those circles and plenty of enemies."

"I am owed $168.80 from my affiliate partnership with Eden. I have fulfilled my end of everything with them, up to completing my last product review. I finished their last giveaway, because I didn’t want to cheat my readers out of anything (should they back out of the giveaway in anger any me). I assume (and hope) that I will receive the affiliate earnings I am owed.
I will not say Eden Fantasys is a bad company. In my opinion, it is not. I put so much of my heart, blood, energy and soul into the community, the company, into EdenFantasys. If you joined because of me, and are now angry, please accept my apologies. I’m unsure why all of these things are happening…and I certainly hope that they are able to change direction, and bring this company back to what it used to me; a caring and concerned member of the online community, with sex-positive, ethical attitudes and being queer/disability/age/etc friendly."
