The concept of a good, wholesome, loving family with a mother who is a sex worker is just too mind blowing for some people – like you and I have discussed, even sometimes clients themselves can’t comprehend it – how could any man let his wife do sex work? Obviously, you and I are two examples of “How could any man stop me?” but I think just that alone is too much for some people – that you have a husband you love and still do sex work is just beyond comprehension and for some people it always will be. Even now people question my love and devotion to my husband if I bring up the topic of sex work. For some, there is no division between the stereotype and biased views of sex workers and the reality of our lives.
